Clerkenwell Open

See off the Summer in Style with Staverton

Join Staverton this September for a social event to drag summer 2021 out for as long as possible. Organised by The British Contract Furnishing Association and Women in Office Design, Clerkenwell Open is exclusive and free to attend.

The two-day event will celebrate the reopening of furniture and design showrooms across EC1 and reignite the creative spark the design industry has been missing.

With a theme of Sustainability, Clerkenwell Open will give exhibitors the chance to showcase their products and strengths.

All furniture showrooms, staff, and event associates will deliver a sustainable design event with the lowest possible environmental impact, meaning an entirely plastic and single-use item-free event with no:

  • lanyards (all merchandise eco-friendly)
  • paper maps (your guide will be available online)

There will also be free water refill stations — and free top-ups of bubbly and beer.

As part of Clerkenwell Open, we will host a limited-capacity talk from architect and interior designer Giuseppe Boscherini, whose services we were lucky enough to acquire to design our showroom in 2019.

Giuseppe will be talking about adaptation, mitigation and resilience, and how, as designers, we must be courageous in reframing the professional, intellectual and operational models we’ve been used to and dependant on.

To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, we’d appreciate it if you could wear a face-covering during the talk. We have 20 tickets for grabs, and you can RSVP here.

Be sure to leave some room for a light lunch after Guiseppe has shared his wisdom.

Clerkenwell Open will be packed with other engaging content — including a seminars and workshops programme by Women in Office Design — prompting the return of architects, designers, buyers and specifiers to the area.

So have a drink on us and browse our latest product portfolio — including our video meetings solution, workstations, and much more.
