Clerkenwell Open

7th & 8th September, 2022

From 9-10 September visitors to the Sedus showroom will be able to experience a true and authentic taste of Sedus.

In keeping with our sustainable theme, meet the new se:mood four legged chair. 100% recycled material, the space-saving stacking chair will be on display inside the showroom and on our terrace as it’s also perfect for outdoor use. se:mood can be easily adapted to many colour schemes and situations with the addition of cushions and a selection of frame colours.

take-o-seat is a practical, space-saving folding stool made of PET felt made from recycled material. It can easily be folded and carried and is easy to take anywhere with you. Perfect to perch on while sitting with colleagues and ideal if space is limited in meeting rooms.

In keeping with Sedus’ holistic approach and sense of responsibility to employees, a vegetable broth (brühe) will be available to all visitors across the two days of Clerkenwell Open. The broth is legendary amongst Sedus employees, introduced back in the 1960s by the owner, Emma Stoll, and made from organic vegetables produced around the company headquarters. This is still true today and we would love you to experience a taste of Sedus with us.

“Cookery and Cocktails – Wholesome Recipes from the Sedus Kitchen” (max. 20)

On Thursday 9th from 5.30pm, we will be holding a cookery and cocktail demonstration in the showroom. We will be using plant based and whole food recipes inspired from Emma Stoll’s ‘wholefood’ kitchen cookbook.

Join us for Sedus themed ‘green’ cocktails and ‘low to no’ virgin cocktails – perhaps a Martini Mood or a Lounge Iced Tea?

Experience a true taste of Sedus and leave with a sense of wellbeing.

Places need to be booked via Eventbrite –

On Friday 10th from 11am Sedus will be hosting a seminar in the Brewhouse Yard showroom with key speaker Georgia Elliott-Smith (MD of Element Four, sustainability consultancy). The focus will be around sustainability and circular design in the office workplace. How is the design sector addressing the serious issue of sustainability, circularity and waste reduction?

Strictly limited places for the seminar can be booked via our Eventbrite page

There will be opportunities for drinks and networking across both days.
